I have been working in the industry since 2016, and I have loved every moment of it. My passion is criminology, which is another branch of security.
I have a great eye for detail and love finding solutions to problems.
As a security officer for Goldfields Security Services, I am responsible for the safety of our clients premises.
I work with people of all ages and backgrounds and I take my job of keeping them safe very seriously. Goldfields Security Services is committed to providing the highest quality of service possible. They're always looking for ways to improve their services and make sure their clients needs are met.
How long have you been in the Security industry for?
I have been in the Security Industry for 6 years.
What sparked your interest to have a career in the security industry?
My background in Criminology sparked my interest to pursue a career in this field. I have always had an interest in correctional justice systems and measures, and it fits well as a career in a similar realm of interest.
The security industry in very broad, but I am interested in working with individuals to help them understand potential risks they may encounter while out on the job or at home.

I enjoy being a security officer with Goldfields Security Services because of their high level of organisation and clarity that is consistent throughout the company. I also like the professionalism and understanding of the team, and well as their supportiveness.
Qualifications:
Certificate II in Security operations
Bachelor of Criminology and justice, addiction studies, Psychology and counselling
Bachelor of Psychology
What is the best advice you’ve ever heard?
You can’t choose what you want to direct your attention towards- if you need a break, then take one.
