As a Security Crowd Controller, you will be an integral member of the GSS team and will be responsible for:

• Providing outstanding customer service to patrons entering and exiting venue including providing clear directions and expectations and venue information;

• De-escalation of potential conflicts and calling on venue staff and external support if needed;

• Monitoring and responding to relevant incidents and report outcomes as required;

• Providing a safe space for patrons to voice concerns of a verbal and physical nature;

• Maintaining conditions of entry and remove unlawful patrons if required;

• Monitoring crowd behaviour and RSA;

• Preparing general security records and reports.

This position may vary with days, nights, weekdays, and weekends.

We are seeking a passionate Security Business Development Manager to plan, develop and oversee the overall business development strategy for Goldfields Security Services.

As a Security Business Development Manager, you will be an integral member of the GSS team and will be responsible for:

• Managing the existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities;

• Managing the development of proposals and presentations for new businesses including creation of all marketing and tender documentation;

• Generating and qualifying potential leads, setting appointments and attending prospective client meetings;

• Negotiating business contracts and associated contractual agreements;

• Providing regular reporting and updates to Goldfields Security Services management;

• Organising and hosting networking events within the local community;

• Representing the Goldfields Security Services brand whilst ensuring a positive customer experience;

• Conducting regular visits and calls to an existing client base to ensure a high level of customer service is maintained.

We are seeking an experienced Security Officer who will be responsible for the overall safety of all mine site employees and persons entering the mine site for our clients.

As a Security Officer, you will be an integral member of the GSS team, and will be responsible for:

• Providing stringent access control to the mine through conducting internal and external vehicle and personnel patrols of the site – permitting employees and designated visitors only though the use of Access Control systems;

• Monitoring CCTV and site activity for suspicious activity, identifying irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons or unusual occurrences;

• Conducting drug and alcohol screening;

• Providing timely resolutions to identified issues, ensuring compliance with site requirements;

• Issuing, tracking, and logging security passes;

• Maintaining site logbooks to ensure accountabilities for all minutes of shift (breaks and patrols);

• Conducting visitor inductions;

• Responding to incidences and completing Hazard ID’s and JHA’s while ensuring all reporting obligations and time frames are met.

This position is on a rotating roster which will include days, nights, and weekends.
